Announcement from the TRACES Team

To the TRACES Community,

Thank you for being the heart of TRACES. Our priority is to ensure the integrity of our work and maintain your trust.

TRACES is a collective effort. We are deeply grateful to every contributor, within our core team and across the community.

We remain fully committed to our mission and are actively planning TRACES 2026 and beyond.

Clarification for Transparency:

1. Our Identity and Representation

   The TRACES Team opposes any unilateral action that falsely claims to represent the will and authority of  TRACES, and all its related events, including the conference held in 2025.

   
   

2. Communication Channels

   Due to unforeseen technical reasons, the access to our Instagram (currently under the name of traces2025) and email (traceshk@gmail.com) have been lost. Communications from these channels after Sept 1 do not represent the views of the TRACES Team. The website (www.traceshk.com) is the sole formal channel for all TRACES communications.

   
   

3. Fundraising Disclaimer

   The “TRACES 2025 Fundraising Campaign" is NOT authorized by the full TRACES Team. Crucially, all financial details and records for these activities are being withheld and are inaccessible to the team. Therefore, the TRACES Team bears no responsibility for these initiatives and cannot verify their legitimacy. Any associated risks rest solely with the individual collecting funds.

   
   

4. Copyright Disclaimer

   All existing designs and publications are the collective work of the TRACES 2025 organisers and presenters,  governed by the copyright agreement signed between presenters and TRACES, as hosted on our official website. No party shall unilaterally reinterpret or violate the spirit of this contract. We reserve the right to pursue all available remedies against defamatory claims or further harm.

   
   

We firmly believe that the best outcomes are achieved through dialogue and collaboration. Unilateral actions are not in the best interests of anyone. Issues should be resolved through discussion and communication on the basis of equality, respect, and mutual benefit. We must emphasize that there is no excuse for acting unethically and against established integrity and legal standards. We oppose any acts of mutual damage and dishonesty.

Our focus remains on our values: open collaboration, academic excellence, and community building. We are united and confident in the future.
